Seeing is believing

Intuition, what a powerfully silent voice. We've all had those moments where intuition graces us with an idea. Either we listen and enjoy whatever unexpected blessing or protection was due or we ignore it and miss out. It's a beautiful moment when we recognize (to our benefit) that we've heeded the call of intuition. I had a beautiful intuition-filled experience on Sunday, walking the dogs.

My sister and I have a pair of amazing dogs whom we absolutely adore.Rhiley is a Weimeraner and what a magnificent boy - as vocal as he is beautiful. Keegan the Dalmatian is all too aware of how captivatingly cute she is and will tease people with a greeting but shy away just at the moment they stretch out to touch her elegant spotted coat. They are big dogs and they make a big impact on our lives as we spend more on their groceries than our own, care more about their exercise régime, watch their comfort levels and generally do everything we can to make them feel loved.

One of the best ways to show a dog you love them is:

Julia Theunissen and I are great friends and business partners in an Internet radio station called Other Worlds Tomorrow Radio. Here we are pictured on a skiing holiday to Lesotho in 2011 where we had an absolute riot and you can hear the great vibe of our friendship in today's show.

It's the good, the bad, the ugly and the sometimes far too awkward!!

Today's show on Other Worlds Tomorrow is a double-hander I do with Julia Theunissen all about dating etiquette. Inspired by Patty Novak who festured recently on http://www.oprah.com, we worked our own stories in with some of the excellent suggestions from Patty. It's a fun show and we had a hoot putting these ideas together.

We're still looking for a new show name so if you listen to the show and feel inspired we'd love to hear your thoughts.

10s to make your first impression.

Who should pay?

What to wear?

What to eat?

Where to meet?

Enjoy the show and let us know what you think! Below are Patty Novak's Datinbg Basics.

Whitney Houston Dies 48

Sunday, 12 February 2012 07:51

Whitmey Houston is dead.

I am deeply saddened by this news. Somehow addiction's inevitable conquest seems so cruel. What an imense talent. We were blessed with her voice and incredible beauty. She seemed to suffer though didn't she? The pressure was overbearing for her. Judgements. Criticisms. Condemnations. Yes there were affirmations and acknowledgements too but the human condition is such that we pay heed to the negative.

I send sympathies to her daughter, and even to Bobby Brown who must be devastated at her loss. To the rest of the family - deepest condolences and to the fans, the you and the me in the world who've lost an iconic voice.  For decades, her music has been the soundtrack to so many wonderful moments for humanity. She is gone too soon but I am so glad for recordings that remind us of the beauty in our lives and the love that once was in hers. She returns to the light and will be at peace.

Here is the start of an article from the Daily Mail in the UK by Hugo Gye and Lydia Warren.  You can click on the link and read further as the story unfolds.

This week, I interview author and medium, Lynda Lograsso about her new book, "Butterflies and Umbreallas" - stories of loss and transformation.

I do a weekly podcats called, "Be Alive in Your Life" for Other Worlds Tomorrow Radio. You can listen to the show on my facebook page, from http://www.otherworldstomorrow.com  or from my site

What an intriguing woman! I thoroughly enjoyed the conversation and I have so many more questions as I'm sure you do.

It is the ancient questions that fascinate and frighten us: what happens when we die? Where do we go? Is there life after death? What is it like to die? What about animals - do they have souls? Do people compromise their soul's perpetually if they commit suicide?

This is the first in a series of short two minute tips that I'm producing on vocal training and presentation skills.

Our lives are rapidly moving towards entertainment and education on demand. We like things when we want them how we want them. These short clips are time efficient and they have enough content to be relevant and useful.

Jump at these ten steps towards health

Thursday, 13 October 2011 06:16

A quick Tové Survey in today's blog. Can you see yourself right this minute taking a leap into the air - with explosive energy?

Do you feel like it is even something you'd like to do whether or not your body is capable of it? Most of us are complaining about having zero energy and no means to changing the situation. Our nutrition has been in crisis for years. Our level of exercise amounts to jaunts to the fridge or the pantry in hot puruit of everything we shouldn't be eating.

When was the last time you quietened your mind long enough to notice your breathing? Can you even imagine yourself taking time to meditate? We are cracking on at such an almightily terrifying rate and yet we're giving our physical bodies little to no support. It seems as if we are directly contributing to our own demise with no prospect of reversing the damage. Luckily for us - there is ALWAYS change and we can make that famous U-Turn with or without the assisitance of the well-spoken lady who provides the Garmin voice.

So let's make a legal U-Turn right now. I would like to share just ten tips today - something to think about in your journey back to health. I got them off the Harvard Medical School site and I figured they were authorities on the matter so let's take a look at their simple suggestions.

Our interactive package includes examinations of various social media platforms such as:

A few years ago I released an album called "Love in the afternoon".

It featured 2 of my tracks: an original which was the title track and a cover of "I can't make you love me".

In my show today, "Be alive in your life" on Other Worlds Tomorrow - I announce that we're giving away 5 copies of the album.
